Well Hello There!!

Well hello there friends!!  I know, I know...it's been about a bazillion weeks but I'm back and it's summer.  And you know what summer means...major catch up time!!  Catch up time to blog, update units, make new units and of course work on the million home projects I have on a honey-do list {for the hubby} before this sweet baby gets here!!

Speaking of updating units...check out my newly revised "Silly Dilly Caterpilly...Buggin' Over Sight Words" unit!  I am absolutely in love with the cute little bug clip art from Pink Cat Studio--aren't they too stinkin' adorable??

I'd love to know what y'all think of this update!!  Leave me a comment and I will randomly pick one sweet friend to send this pack to!

Hope y'all are all having a great start to your summer!!

  4. Rebecca this is so clever! I love how the kids get to build their caterpillar so they can see their growth in a concrete way! I also love that you included information for parents that explains what sight words are and why they are important. The sheets to send home for practice are the icing on the cake! You really thought of everything! I LOVE this pack!

  5. This is the best concept for sight word practice I have seen! I really struggled this past year to get my parents on board with helping their kiddos, and I think a system like this is just what I need! Fingers crossed:) Good work, Rebecca!

  7. What an awesome idea! I do the parent contact and ask for students to review these words-but I like the way you also make it fun for the students to make something if they can successfully read the list!!

  9. This is absolutely adorable! I love the at home practice pages!!! I use a large caterpillar in my classroom for our sight words, but the individual caterpillars would be a perfect way to encourage and motivate students! Keeping my fingers crossed that I am your winner! :)
