  1. I so enjoyed reading about you!! Having a good life group (or connect group as we call it) is so precious! It takes a while to get people to open up and be vulnerable! Once you do, it's just fantastic to see the Lord move! Once you have had an awesome group and then you have to move, it's just hard to replace them all! On another note, your bows look fantastic!! That is my go-to baby girl gift...BOWS! :)

  4. The good thing about them being babies is that you can dress them up however you like! :-) Girlie her up all you want! She may rebel later, but you'll always have those memories!

  6. I always love reading your posts and it makes my heart smile when I see "Darlin in First". I loved your 10 things about me and can so identify with all that you wrote, except for the fact that I'm (much) older than you! Once a coach's wife, always a coach's wife ... I, too, felt seasonal ... but wouldn't have wanted it any other way. When my kids were younger (babies in fact), we made every trip and saw every game - I made my kids understand just what it is that Daddy did and how we supported him. My daughter's first trip came at 6 weeks old (she's now almost 26!) and included a trip to see your beloved Wildcats. Some of my son's fondest memories are running up to his dad after a game and hanging out with the big boys (the players). Include your daughter (bows and all) in everything. When my husband hung up his whistle after 20+ years, his biggest fans (his family) were the most disappointed. I'll be excited to see the post that introduces your baby! Thinking good thoughts to you this last month.
